Solicitors Regulation Authority Consultation: PI - Aon’s Response
As law firms will be aware, the SRA recently published their consultation paper “Professional Indemnity Insurance: affirmative cyber cover”, and no doubt many from the legal profession have responded. Alongside this, responses were invited from other interested parties such as brokers, insurers and their representative groups.

Aon’s Professional Services team responded, making our recommendation as to how, in our view, law firms and their clients would benefit from coverage being positively affirmed in the Minimum Terms and Conditions.

Save The Date: Law Firm CISO Forum
We are inviting Law Firm CISO's, IT leaders, and their counterparts or colleagues in Risk to save the date for the next ‘Law Firm CISO Forum’ in the series, entitled: MFA for MFA – Cyber resilience needs Multi-Factor Authentication, and a Multi-Factor Approach.

We are close to ‘crisis point’ with Cyber renewals - the dramatic increase in ransomware-related losses is changing security standards for business; insurers are demanding more details about specific controls; and are imposing new non-negotiable requirements. We believe that strong and aligned engagement across key stakeholders in Risk and Security is one of the critical factors to help firms secure the best ‘place at the table’ when negotiating with insurers.

If you are not already a member and are interested in joining the CISO Forum to receive an invitation, or would like more information, please get in touch, using the link below.

Date & Time: Wednesday 15 September, 2:30 – 3:30pm (BST)
